HTML5 & CSS3 Introduction

We are currently writing this article because you know that it is necessary to learn HTML to make a website, beautify and do more than one thing. I seem to see that you ask the question What is HTML5 and What is CSS3 ? The question of what we can do with these languages should be too confusing when starting a software language

What is HTML5 ?

Today, the version we use as the version of the HTML language version 5 is used. When we look at the word “Hyper Text Markup Language” consists of the initials. In the table below, you can see the outgoing versions of HTML for years.

HTML 1991
HTML 2.0 1995
HTML 3.2 1997
HTML 4.01 1999
XHTML 2000
HTML5 2014

Websites made with HTML consisted of text only at first. It was not possible to do much with this markup language, which provided large and small letters. In 1996, CSS was added in addition to XHTML to do more visually.

What is CSS3 ?

Before moving to CSS3, it is useful to know first what the CSS words mean. Explaining the word CSS in Cascading Style Sheets“. It allows you to change the color of paragraphs with CSS, the ability to make various color transitions to the buttons and to make more visual changes. Before the CSS, you had to define individual styles for each label. But after the appearance of CSS, you don’t need such a process, but you can define styles for the labels you want with a single file.

What is the HTML Page ?

To start an HTML page, start with the <html> tag and end with the </ html> tag. To start an HTML5 page and to specify that it is an HTML5 page for browsers, the top line starts with the <! DOCTYPE html> tag and this tag is only at the top of the code.

Then, <head> and </ head> section of the title of the website, meta description, metadata, such as information is entered and this information does not appear in the content of the website. For example, the <title> tag to be entered into this tag identifies the name on the tab in the browser.

<html>

<head>

<title>Page title</title>

</head>

<body>

<h1>Title</h1>
<p>Paragraph.</p>
<p>Another paragraph.</p>

</body>

</html>

If you start from the example above, you will reach a detailed form of the information I have written at the top. Then everything that is written between the <body> and </ body> tags means everything that will be displayed on your website. Anything written between these tags will appear on your website and will be displayed in your browser.

First Example with HTML5

Here, the code below will show you the structure of HTML. After reviewing the codes below, you’ll understand what is used and what label does what.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Page Title</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1>My First Heading</h1>
<p>My first paragraph.</p>
</body>
</html>

Go to Google

The <h1> tag is the title tag, and you’ve learned that the <p> tag identifies the paragraphs here. It should not be forgotten that every tag opened in HTML should be closed. Even if there are some exceptions, you will be writing code without going into more complex complexity when each label is closed.
